About Savannah

I'm a senior graduating in the Spring of 2023 from Florida State University with a Bachelor's in Public Relations and a minor in Innovation. I'm a New Yorker who ran to Florida to escape the snow and find sunshine, although I am considering returning after spending my summer interning in NYC.

 

At Hundred Stories PR, I began as a PR intern, learning how to write pitches, craft media lists, and use MuckRack. After a month of interning, I was asked to step into the role of Social Media Manager for the company. I gratefully took on the opportunity that most don't receive before graduating college and acted in the position for the rest of the summer. I ran client meetings alongside the VP, created and approved all content for our three social media clients, and assisted in planning events for our residential building clients. It was an absolute dream to work in NYC, and it made me appreciate the northeast again. I now intern at The Syndicate, where I work with many different music artists helping to promote their new releases to magazines, blogs and playlist curators!

In my off time, I like to go to thrift shops, flea markets, my CrossFit gym, record stores, small towns during the holidays and live music shows. I mentioned that I love being the wizard behind the curtain to make brands' and entrepreneurs' dreams come true. I only recently made this discovery after realizing how I've spent my time over the past 6 (ish) years. Whether it was cheering on sports teams in high school (and driving HOURS to games) or, as of more recently, supporting my best friends' band (traveling to other states for shows, designing & selling their first-ever merch, creating their first website and sometimes even being the videographer), or simply redesigning a website for my CrossFit coach who had the vision to combine mental and physical health, I have found happiness in helping others and making their dreams come true. And even though this is a newer discovery, it makes complete sense why I found passion in this field.

 

I am made to create and witness people's smiles and passions for their dreams.
